Former Butcher Shop, Cottage & Garage

The brick butchers shop was built on the site of Paterson’s Garage in 1920. The butcher operated there until 1979. The premises at one time was a craft shop and café.

Many children, now adults, tell stories of amazement of the large saw that was in full view of its customers.
