his course will teach you the basic techniques for painting with oils. On day 1 Kim will cover drawing, tone (render in charcoal) and mixing oil paint to render tonal scale. On day 2 Kim will show you how to apply colour tonally.
Kim Shannon is an artist living and working in the Southern Highlands. Kim studied at the Julian Ashton Art School Sydney in the late 1960’s and later spent several years in London where she studied at the City and Guilds of London Art School and then at the Royal Academy Schools London, where she won a Gold Medal. Cancellations and Refunds – If the workshop is cancelled, we will inform all registered participants as soon as possible via phone or email and will offer a full refund of fees paid. If you are unable to attend the workshop we will not provide a refund, you are however welcome to find a replacement participant.
