SEED Community Day

  • Cootamundra Australia (map)

SEED is a creative day connecting and strengthening the Cootamundra community. The community day will be followed in June by a series of workshops responding to the outcomes from the day.

• Morning - Listen and reflect with Amanda Levett, artist and traditional custodian about the importance of following Yindyamarra, caring for and learning from Country.

• Lunch. Bring a picnic rug or chair along with your own picnic lunch to enjoy in the great outdoors.

• Afternoon - Chris Main and family will share & discuss the transition of Retreat to Regenerative Agriculture practices and holistic land care and how supporting cultural access is vital.

The audience is encouraged to participate by listening, sharing and responding to the themes in creative ways of drawing, making and describing. A roving youth documentary team will be collecting photos, audio and creative output from the day.
